How does it happen? Sitting here literally all day, eyes glued to the computer… and I still haven’t been outside for my daily commitment to doing something active. One of the number 1 things I preach to help people stick to a program of activity is to decide on a time of day that WORKS, pencil it in or write it on a calendar that you SEE every day, and make it a priority the same way you do with your work commitments or your kid commitments, or whatever it may be. So this morning I deviated from my early morning stride… and now the day has zipped by.
My daughter has a volleyball playday in an hour, and that’s important, so if I don’t pull myself away right NOW and go for a STRIDE, it just won’t happen. I know if I don’t get outside for myself I’ll feel frustrated and a little less happy than I would be otherwise. So if this strikes a chord with you right now, then just GO…! Right NOW…!
